About The Position

Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As a Host at Army Navy Country Club (ANCC), you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and organized dining environment for our members and their guests. Your leadership will set the standard for exceptional service and ensure that every guest’s visit is smooth and enjoyable. The host is the first impression of the restaurant and must greet diners in a friendly manner. The host is responsible for efficiently and effectively seating members and being an ambassador for the club.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently seat members according to floor plan
• Greet members upon entering dining areas
• Communicate with staff and managers about member requests
• Answer phone in a polite and professional manner
• Ensure cleanliness of area
• Take to go orders
• Knowledgeable about club events and functions
