This position will assist in the sanitation of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small ware, and utensils to be cleaned The following shifts are available: Monday through Friday Daytime hours 7:30am-1:00pm, Nighttime hours 2:00pm-7:30pm & Weekend hours Saturday & Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm. Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values Enforce the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department Responsible for the use of chemicals according to the MSDS and dish machine to ensure that proper procedures are being used and temperatures are being maintained for sanitation measures Responsible for putting away of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small wares, and utensils in their proper location Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all tables in the cafeteria Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all carts on a daily basis Responsible for garbage removal and cleaning of the garbage receptacles Responsible for mopping and cleaning of all spills and debris on the floors of the Food Service department Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all mobile carts in the food service department at all times Responsible for the proper washing and sanitation of catering items to ensure no damage is occurring with these special items Responsible for timely completion of any further cleaning tasks as assigned by FSM or Head Chef Maintain a strong professional relationship with the Culinary Arts department Attend industry-related conferences, workshops and seminars as appointed by the Food Service Manager Immediately report and malfunctioning or broken equipment/small wares to FSM or Head Chef Regular, prompt & reliable attendance Perform other related duties as assigned
