Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1 year experience preferred
  • Works in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled area.
  • Physical exertion required including continuous standing and walking. Frequent stooping, reaching, handling and lifting of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to comply with all food safety procedures.
  • Minimal exposure to infectious diseases.
  • Physical job demands may be subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and resetting dining areas.
  • Prepares dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • Cleans machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, mixers, etc.
  • Unloads and stores deliveries.
  • Sweeps and mops floors.
  • Cleans floors when items are broken or spilled.
  • Takes out trash and rinses garbage cans.
  • Supports other restaurant staff members by assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Reports kitchen accidents or violation of food safety codes and procedures.
  • Obey all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
