Electrical Student Co Op Experience – Decatur Corn and East Plant Facilities Electrical Student Co Op Program in partnership with RCC This is a part time, hourly position. Position Summary: We are looking for individuals who would like to explore a new career opportunity offering new challenges and responsibilities within one of our Decatur Complex facilities. This experience will provide a unique opportunity to get started with an Electrical AC/DC course offered by Richand Community College, in combination with to online learning, job shadowing, and hands-on interactive methods. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Requirements

  • Enrolled as a student of Richland Community College for the duration of employment
  • Is in good standing with the College for the duration of employment and at the conclusion of the semester in which the work experience is taking place
  • Earns a grade of “C” or higher for the ELTRN 100 AC/DC Theory course during Spring 2026
  • Meet attendance requirements in school and at ADM
  • Upon selection into the program, students will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment background process as administered per ADM policy/procedures.
  • Ideal candidate should possess strong people and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, as well as a motivated personality with a willingness to take initiative
  • Proficient in the use of a computer with experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend and communicate, orally and in writing to effectively communicate in person or by phone.
  • Position may require sitting for prolonged periods of time; standing, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing a ladder, kneeling, and operating a keyboard.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
