PT Cashier & Greenhouse Associate
About The Position
Ellis Home & Garden on in Beaumont, TX is now accepting applications for Cashiers and Greenhouse Associate positions. These positions will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment. Responsibilities and Duties Cashiers will be the face of the company and usually the first person that our customers see when they come to our store. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, answering phone calls, and any other assigned duties. The Greenhouse Associate will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be available Nights & Weekends
- Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
- Computer proficiency required
- Cash handling experience (Cashier position)
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred
- Retail point of sale experience preferred
- Plant knowledge preferred
