About The Position
This position provides a great opportunity to work in our production greenhouses, planting, growing and shipping plants for our retail stores.
Requirements
- Heavy lifting
Responsibilities
- Filling pots with soil for transplanting.
- Prepping plants for planting.
- Transplanting in greenhouse and/or planting on potting machine.
- Labeling product with tags/stickers.
- Crop maintenance (watering, spacing, moving, separating, tying, pinching, cutting back, and weeding).
- Maintain cleanliness of facility.
- Assist with loading/pulling plants for shipment to both sales locations.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Heavy lifting (50 pounds) may be required; must be able to move loaded carts of plants.
- Utilizing a step ladder for care of hanging baskets.
- Other duties, as assigned
