About The Position

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment history
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record
  • Must have current auto insurance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company‑owned vehicle
  • Must be at least 23 years of age to operate a company‑owned 15‑passenger van
  • Must attain required Behavioral Management training within 30 days of employment or first available class
  • Must complete “Direct Service Expectations,” Growth and Development, and Privileging and Credentialing requirements within required timeframes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and complete clear, concise documentation
  • Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services based on assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing
  • Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
  • Ability to move objects or materials as needed within a sedentary work environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of case management and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with mental illness in a community‑based setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Facilitate PSR education sessions, structured groups, outings, and activities under the supervision of clinical leadership
  • Support client treatment plans by serving as an advocate and assisting with skill development and goal progression
  • Assist with client orientation, education, referrals, documentation, and participation in team planning
  • Monitor program environments to ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to program expectations and curfews
  • Encourage appropriate behaviors and serve as a positive role model for clients
  • Maintain regular communication with the care team to report behaviors and participate in coordinated care planning
  • Operate agency vehicles to provide client transportation and support program operations
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and actively participate in program activities
  • Demonstrate commitment to the organization’s long‑term and short‑term goals
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by clinical or program leadership
