About The Position

Position Summary: 40 hr/wk M – F 8 am – 430 pm. Start and end times may be flexible based on schedule. The Psychometrist will play a crucial role in administering neuropsychological tests and assisting with the assessment of patients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or closely related field.
  • Experience working with adult or geriatric populations preferred.
  • Training and/or previous experience in neuropsychological testing preferred.
  • Knowledge of neurodevelopmental, cognitive, or psychiatric disorders preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and electronic health records preferred.
  • Epic experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer written and computer-based neuropsychological tests to individuals across various age groups under the supervision of licensed neuropsychologists.
  • Prepare and maintain testing materials, ensuring all assessments are completed accurately and in compliance with ethical guidelines.
  • Record test results and observations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of patient information.
  • Providing a summary of behavioral observations for review by the neuropsychologist.
  • Provide a supportive and comfortable environment for patients before, during, and after assessments.
  • Collaborate with neuropsychologists, clinicians, and other staff members to coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and always maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Manages the scanning of test protocols into secure database.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
