About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Psychology courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Psychology classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired

Requirements

• Master’s in psychology OR Bachelor’s in psychology AND Master’s in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work OR the equivalent
• All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date.
• Alternatively, applicants must have obtained an equivalency determination from the District before the publication of the Recruitment Announcement.
