SUMMARY : Responsible for providing assistance to the supervising psychologist in all aspects of psychologist interventions for students. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele. Adhere to the professional ethical standards and guidelines developed by the National Association of School Psychologists. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job; not all tasks may be performed by each employee. Duties and assignments may vary based on building assignment and academic year. The following frequencies and percentage of time spent are approximations only. Provide school-based, multi-tiered counseling, as well as social, emotional, and behavioral intervention services to individuals, groups, and parents/guardians, including ongoing direct services to students with developmental and emotional disabilities under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 13%] Perform cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral assessments to maximize student achievement and success, including data collection for behavior interventions and monitoring progress under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 13%] Develop and evaluate Tier I, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions using evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL) and counseling interventions under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 13%] Conduct functional behavioral assessments under continuum of multiple systems of support under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 13%] Assess and provide intervention services to students who exhibit special needs and monitor progress under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 13%] Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, administrators, special education, and gifted education colleagues to provide intervention and consultation regarding the needs of students under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 10%] Positively impact achievement and differentiate instruction based on the needs of the students by supporting programs designed to increase student achievement under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. [Daily, 10%] Prioritize time effectively, working with a supervisor to identify specific goals and priorities for services. [Daily, 5%] Engage in individual and school-wide safety implementation, including crisis response, prevention, and intervention for students at-risk of harm to self or others under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
