About The Position

At the Potomac Center/SETT facility, our collegial teams provide quality person-centered support to adults (some court referred) with behavioral health challenges and intellectual disabilities/autism at our residential campus in Hagerstown, Maryland. Our aim is to help our residents learn adaptive behavior skills and return to the community. Our center consists of a 62-bed licensed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) that focuses on using therapeutic interventions to empower residents. In addition, we have a Secure Evaluation and Therapeutic Treatment (SETT) Program, a 32-bed licensed Forensic Residential Center, that provides services to individuals with intellectual disabilities who are court involved. The center sits on a lovely campus just outside southern Pennsylvania and about 1.5 hours from Washington, DC. This full-time contractual position ensures all individual assessments are completed effectively and efficiently in order to help individuals improve their psychological functioning and accomplish objectives specified in their person-centered plans. This position oversees the development and implementation of person-centered psychology services/interventions based on reason for admission, court orders, findings from assessments, and plans for discharge. This position provides direct service and oversees the services provided by the SETT Psychology Associates. This position works collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to include attending individual plan of care meetings, special team meetings, morning reports, etc. This position works with both the IDT and the individual to develop and train on behavioral support plans, while ensuring the overarching program meets the individuals’ support needs.
