About The Position

At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a part-time Psychologist - Evaluator to support our Children's Behavioral Support Program in Philadelphia, PA.   Hybrid-Remote Position: Telehealth, In-Office, and In-School support. Shift: Flexible - minimum 15hrs per week.   Position details: The Psychologist in the evaluator role conducts Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBEs), Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Re-Evalautions (CBRs) Provisional Treatment Plan and Written Orders for children and their families that are referred to Merakey’s Children’s Services. Psychologist is responsible for completing all paperwork associated with the assessment process as required by Merakey, the managed care entity or other insurer, i.e., assessment, initial treatment plan, inter-agency documentation and a written diagnostic report and appropriate treatment recommendations.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Licensure as a psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania
  • 3-5 years experience in outpatient, BHRS, or combination of direct services with children and families
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Conducts Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBEs)
  • Conducts Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Re-Evalautions (CBRs)
  • Completes Provisional Treatment Plan and Written Orders for children and their families that are referred to Merakey’s Children’s Services
  • Completes all paperwork associated with the assessment process as required by Merakey, the managed care entity or other insurer, i.e., assessment, initial treatment plan, inter-agency documentation and a written diagnostic report and appropriate treatment recommendations.
