Requirements

  • Board Certified Psychiatric- Mental Health Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Psychiatric Medicine.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
  • Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP) strong background in Psychiatric or D&A and Co-Occurring Disorders, knowledge of HIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required.
  • Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Include doing psychiatric evaluations and follow ups, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, medication management, preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts).
  • Provides support and resources to the clinical staff as needed.
  • Coordination with clinical staff when appropriate.
  • Responsibility to coordinate and complete the peer review process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
