About The Position

Adult Psychiatrist | Full Time | Outpatient | On-site Position Overview: We are seeking a full time adult Psychiatrist to join our outpatient hospital team in Jefferson City, MO. This full time, onsite role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients aged 12+.

Requirements

• Board Certified, or eligible, Psychiatrist
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri or the ability to obtain one.
• Active DEA registration in Missouri or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week. No weekend or call requirements
