Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is a Division of the Marin County Health and Human Services Department. At BHRS, we care for the whole person with compassion and respect for your cultural values. Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain long term health, wellness and recovery, and to foster healthy families and communities. BHRS provides outpatient, residential, crisis services, and hospital care addressing specialty mental health and substance use service needs of Marin Medi-Cal beneficiaries and uninsured residents. Outpatient Services Adult Outpatient Services 24-hours of coverage Monday – Friday No call, nights, or weekends Mobile Crisis Team available 8 AM - 9 PM and 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit available for back-up Opportunities for teaching, preceptorship, and professional development Working with a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, a clinic nurse, case managers, therapists , peer specialists, support workers, and administrative staff to serve patients with specialty mental health needs in a community mental health setting Currently can be done as a hybrid of onsite work and Tele-Health
