About The Position

Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ. This is a FT position with on-sie care Monday-Friday with flexibility.

Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).
Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.
Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
Maintain current and proper progress notes.
Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.
Answer urgent questions from team when not on-site and/or after hours.
Average census of 20 clients to see 1-2 times/week.
Provide Psychiatric Assessments and follow-up medication management visits, participate in treatment team meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, conduct insurance peer to peer reviews as needed.
