About The Position
You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs. The Telecare El Dorado County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked hospital facility providing acute inpatient psychiatric treatment to adults aged 18+, diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA in good standing
