About The Position

$30,000 Sign on Bonus or $60,000 Student Loan Repayment for eligible new hires

To provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to mentally ill inmates. To
function as a mental health provider to the inmates by performing initial and
ongoing psychiatric assessments; to prescribe appropriate medication and/or
mechanical measures to assist inmates to improve behaviors; assist with
preparation and modification of treatment plans and recommend and assign to
appropriate programs. Also to provide supervision to psychiatric providers at
the institution.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited medical school and psychiatric residency program.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Virginia; M.D./D.O.
• Possess the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive psychiatric services.

• Forensic or Addiction specialty.
