About The Position

Bourbonnais Terrace is a Specialized Mental Health and Rehab Facility (SMHRF) providing care to the non-aggressive adult mentally ill/behavior health population. Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, the facility boasts a leadership team with many years of experience. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) role extends beyond a typical job description, emphasizing compassion and companionship for each resident, fostering a family-like atmosphere. The PRSA is responsible for delivering group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long-term care/nursing home setting. This position involves active participation with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate effective therapeutic services through facility programming. Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a PRSA in healthcare center preferred
CNA with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful

Responsibilities

Provide group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting.
Participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming.
Provide compassion and companionship to residents in care.
