Bourbonnais Terrace is a Specialized Mental Health and Rehab Facility (SMHRF), providing care to the non-aggressive (adult) mentally ill/behavior health population. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) is responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting. The PRSA will participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a PRSA in healthcare center preferred
  • CNA with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
  • Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting.
  • Participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming.
