This is an exceptional opportunity for a clinician who wants to make a meaningful impact on adult patients navigating substance use and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. Enjoy a stable Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, no on-call, a manageable caseload, and the chance to work alongside a supportive team of seasoned prescribers. With strong union benefits, competitive compensation, and a deeply mission-driven environment, this role offers both professional fulfillment and long-term career stability.

Requirements

  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience required; 2+ years strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with addiction, substance use disorders, or MAT patient populations.
  • Comfort working in an outpatient setting with adult patients only.

  • Conduct 1-hour psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute medication management visits.
  • Manage a manageable daily caseload of 6–7 patients to ensure high-quality clinical care.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of three prescribers at the site for coordinated, comprehensive treatment.
  • Deliver Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in alignment with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using EclinicalWorks EMR.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fully on-site outpatient setting.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture, continuing the legacy of a long-standing NP who is retiring.

Benefits

  • 1199 Union benefits package.
  • Stable Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.
  • No weekends, no on-call responsibilities.
  • Street parking available.
  • Supportive work environment with long-tenured staff.
