Requirements
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience required; 2+ years strongly preferred.
- Experience working with addiction, substance use disorders, or MAT patient populations.
- Comfort working in an outpatient setting with adult patients only.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with EclinicalWorks a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult patients, primarily those with substance use and addiction-related conditions.
- Conduct 1-hour psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute medication management visits.
- Manage a manageable daily caseload of 6–7 patients to ensure high-quality clinical care.
- Collaborate closely with a team of three prescribers at the site for coordinated, comprehensive treatment.
- Deliver Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in alignment with evidence-based guidelines.
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using EclinicalWorks EMR.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fully on-site outpatient setting.
- Contribute to a positive clinic culture, continuing the legacy of a long-standing NP who is retiring.
