Position Overview: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing mental health conditions among the incarcerated population. The ideal candidate is a confident, independent provider with experience in psychiatric care and an interest in serving justice-involved individuals.

Requirements

• Current and active PNP license (Required)
• Ability to work independently in a structured, secure environment
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in psychiatric or correctional settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team members
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust care as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility-specific protocols
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner
