Whether you’re: Supplementing an existing role Seeking additional income Balancing family or personal commitments Transitioning into telehealth This opportunity allows you to build a consistent caseload without the demands of a full-time schedule. 🌟 Why This Part-Time Role Stands Out 🌍 100% Remote Deliver high-quality psychiatric care from home with full operational and clinical support. 🗓 Flexible Scheduling Build a consistent part-time schedule around afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends — when families need support most. 🤝 Collaborative Care Model Partner closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators in an integrated behavioral health setting. 📚 Built-In Support Mentorship available (new graduates welcome) CEU reimbursement Ongoing clinical consultation and team case reviews 💜 Clinician-Led Culture We are building a mental health system that honors both the provider and the patient — sustainable, compassionate, and innovative. 🧩 Your Role at Backpack Healthcare As a part-time PMHNP, you will: Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth Formulate accurate, evidence-based diagnoses Treatment Planning & Medication Management Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Monitor effectiveness and adjust treatment as needed Provide brief supportive therapy and psychoeducation Integrated Care Collaboration Partner with therapists and care teams to ensure coordinated treatment Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations Documentation & Compliance Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR Uphold all ethical and professional standards
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- Active, unrestricted Arizona PMHNP license & DEA
- Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)
- Experience with or passion for working with youth and families
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfort practicing in a telehealth environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Formulate accurate, evidence-based diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Monitor effectiveness and adjust treatment as needed
- Provide brief supportive therapy and psychoeducation
- Partner with therapists and care teams to ensure coordinated treatment

- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR
