About The Position

Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. We’re currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to a range of clients having mental and/or behavioral health concerns. This position also provides evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning services for clients.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school
• Licensure in the state of Iowa
• Board certified through the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Registered as a practitioner with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners
• A minimum of two years’ experience working with persons who have severe and persistent mental illnesses

Responsibilities

• Providing psychotherapy and medication evaluation and management to a range of clients having mental and/or behavioral health concerns
• Providing evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning services for clients
