About The Position
At ARC Psychiatry, the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting, working within a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Success in this role is demonstrated through safe prescribing practices, strong patient engagement, and close collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams. ARC Psychiatry evaluates, treats, and manages behavioral health conditions using innovative, holistic approaches designed to improve well-being and quality of life. With multiple locations throughout Northeast Ohio, our compassionate team offers comprehensive services including medication management, therapy, TMS, genetic testing, and psychological assessment to adults 18 and older. We partner with local health systems to deliver coordinated, high-quality psychiatric and mental health care across in-person and telemedicine settings. Requirements
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
- Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances;
- Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred
- Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures
- Possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy
- Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations
