About The Position

Devereux/TCV Community Services is Hiring for a Full-Time Diversion & Acute Stabilization (DAS) Psychiatric Counselor! What to Expect: TCV is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and responsible person to join the treatment team serving adults with behavioral health challenges. Encourage individuals to meet their recovery goals, i.e., actively participate in treatment and therapeutic activities to enhance their lives. Monitor individuals’ physical and emotional well-being, use de-escalation and emergency techniques, when necessary, Develop and teach strategies to promote wellness and independence. Collaborate with the treatment team including but not limited to psychiatrist, therapist, nurses and service coordinators. You deserve to work somewhere that gives back to you! Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social/human services, or related field, required
  • 18 years of age or older required.
  • Agree to a PA state criminal history, child abuse record and FBI Clearance.
  • Agree to a pre-employment drug screening, one-step TB and physical.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in social services with adults with behavioral health disorders, highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license (Preferred)
