About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners - Job Opportunity, New Listing Facility City & State: Massachusetts Facility Type: BH Center Provider Profession Needed: NP Specialty: Psych Start Date: 3/2/2026 End Date: 3/28/2026 Length of Assignment: 4 weeks of coverage while they are sourcing for a full time perm psychologist, with the possibility to extend another month or 2 past the initial 4 weeks Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days Work Schedule: 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday (40hrs/week) Patient Volume: Varies Procedures: They care for patients across the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, personality disorders, psychiatric conditions caused by medical illness, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders and other psychiatric and medical needs EMR: EPIC License Needed: MA active is ideal but I will send 1 solid option wihtout it Certifications Needed: • 2+ years of experience in inpatient psychiatry. • Inclusive, non-stigmatizing attitudes and approach • Board certification required • PMHNP certification • Licensed or able to obtain a license in the State of Massachusetts, including controlled substance license. • Passion for excellence in clinical care and the Boston Medical Center mission. • Experience working with vulnerable population, homelessness, substance abuse. Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: ·Provide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients including prescribing medications and/or other psychotherapeutic interventions. ·Provide treatment either independently or with physician supervision in accordance with Massachusetts regulations. ·Develop treatment plans, measure progress against the plans, and make adjustments as needed. ·Provide crisis intervention as needed. ·Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner. ·Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists to assess and adjust treatment plans. ·Coordinate and communicate with case managers, family members and other stakeholders regarding treatment and care. Other additional pertinent information: Most patients have an average length of stay of 10 days

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in inpatient psychiatry.
