About The Position

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana
• PMHNP Certification
• DEA license required
• Strong communication decision making and clinical skills
• Comfortable working independently across diverse care environments

Nice To Haves

• Dual certified in AdultFamily and Psych is a plus
• Facility based or post acute care experience
• Prior psychiatric experience
• Experience in home health hospice or facility based care
• Dual Certification willing to work in both an FNP and PMHNP role
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and EMRs

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric services in home facility and telehealth settings
• Prescribe and manage medications and individualized care plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
• Perform evaluations and treat as appropriate
• Participate in after hours or on call rotation as needed
