About The Position

Riverside Mental Health and Recovery Center is now hiring for a full-time Psych Emergency Department Nurse Manager (RN)! This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance of up to $5,000 for those that qualify! Overview Works under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Office to provide clinical and administrative supervision for all direct reports and the services they provide to patients, and their families at Riverside Behavioral health Center. The manager oversees the interviewing, hiring and staffing, while being directly responsible for ensuring team compliance with health system and regulatory policies, from pre-assessment through post discharge.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Required)
1 year Emergency Department and/ or Behavioral health (Required)
Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
ACLS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 60 Days(Required)
PALS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 60 Days(Required)

Rounds on all units and provides assistance in planning nursing care and evaluating effectiveness of care, problem solving, interpreting nursing policies and patient room assigning.
Monitors staff and assignments.
Ensures staff are in appropriate locations.
