Job Description: Job Family Definition: Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. Responsibilities: Designs, implements, and supports PLM solutions using PTC Windchill with updated version. Involves gathering requirements, developing technical designs, and ensuring seamless integration with S4 enterprise systems. Provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including customization, configuration, and troubleshooting, testing and deployment in production environment. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements for Windchill solutions. Solution Design and Architecture: Developing and documenting detailed technical designs for Windchill implementations, including customizations, configurations, and integrations. System Integration: Designing and implementing integration strategies with other enterprise systems like S4 ERP, to ensure data flow and operational efficiency. Technical Leadership and Guidance: Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Customization and Configuration: Customizing and configuring Windchill to meet specific business requirements, including Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, and MPMLink. Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing and executing test cases, ensuring the quality and functionality of the Windchill solution. Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the Windchill solution, including architecture, system design, configurations, and customizations. Support and Maintenance: Providing ongoing support for the Windchill solution, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades. Mentoring and Development: Mentoring and developing junior consultants and team members. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in PTC Windchill and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Windchill Expertise: 10+ years of deep knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, data modeling, core functionality, and customization capabilities.
  • PLM Process Knowledge: Extensive experience with PLM processes, methods, and tools, including CAD integration, Part Management, BOM management, change management, and document management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, JSP, JavaScript, json , XML, API, RESTful web services.
  • Integration Experience: experience with integrating Windchill with other enterprise systems.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing the technical aspects of PLM projects, including timelines, scoping and quality standards.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology: Knowledge and experience working with Agile development methodologies. Able to deliver the solution through sprint cycles.
  • Document Management : Create Technical and Functional design Documents
  • Reproduce and simulate the scenario and apply the solution
  • Hands on experience on deploying solution in hi-tech industries
  • Collaborate with end users and elaborate the design with respect to user stories.
  • Collaborate and consult with PTC Windchill Technical Leads & Functional leads to validate the proposed solution and proactively identify the risks and mitigation plan.
  • Understanding industry standard solutions using OOTB solutions customization solution, configuration solution, AI Solutions & Digital Strategy
