Job Description: Job Family Definition: Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products. Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. Responsibilities: Designs, implements, and supports PLM solutions using PTC Windchill with updated version. Involves gathering requirements, developing technical designs, and ensuring seamless integration with S4 enterprise systems. Provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including customization, configuration, and troubleshooting, testing and deployment in production environment. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into functional and technical requirements for Windchill solutions. Solution Design and Architecture: Developing and documenting detailed technical designs for Windchill implementations, including customizations, configurations, and integrations. System Integration: Designing and implementing integration strategies with other enterprise systems like S4 ERP, to ensure data flow and operational efficiency. Technical Leadership and Guidance: Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Customization and Configuration: Customizing and configuring Windchill to meet specific business requirements, including Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, and MPMLink. Testing and Quality Assurance: Developing and executing test cases, ensuring the quality and functionality of the Windchill solution. Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the Windchill solution, including architecture, system design, configurations, and customizations. Support and Maintenance: Providing ongoing support for the Windchill solution, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades. Mentoring and Development: Mentoring and developing junior consultants and team members. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in PTC Windchill and related technologies.
