About The Position

The PSD Materials Handler supports our engine builders by
arranging/staging incoming parts (new and reused). This position will be key to
supporting a process change designed to increase production within our Engine
Rebuild shops.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a
daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core
business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3)
Participate in ongoing self-development.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of engines, components, and parts handling 
• General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
• Good verbal and written communication skills  
• Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to operate an overhead crane 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
• Ability to read, write, and understand information
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• One or more years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Statement
• Plans, sorts, and stages parts to support engine assembly process
• Maintains all company equipment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order
• Coordinates and plans the movement of parts with the parts department
• Ensures the warehouse and equipment yard is neat, clean and orderly
• Works overtime as required by workload
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned
