About The Position

Description The Prüfcubing process uses a specially machined car body to evaluate the buildability, geometric fit, function and overall maturity of interior and exterior parts during and after a new model launch. The Prüfcubing is a highly visible part of a new model launch and works together with several departments including Development, Assembly and Supplier Quality. Primary responsibility will be to support all facets of a Prüfcubing Loop including planning, hardware preparation, problem documentation and root cause analysis. After each loop, the co-op will support the TX-52 Product Integration teams, following problems identified in the cubing though the problem solving process. Preparing Parts and Tooling for the Day’s Build. Validating the quality level of the parts delivered for the Cubing Loop. Clear and Concise documentation of the defects found during the Cubing loop. Containment tracking for critical defects found during the cubing loop.

Requirements

  • Major: Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
  • Good Communication and technical writing Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Power point
  • Self-Motivated and able to work independently
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE Aug 10th Dec 11th, 2026
  • Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
