About The Position

Room patients, assist provider with procedures and treatments, complete a variety of tasks including but not limited to injections, phone communication, patient education, vital signs, chart documentation, quality improvement initiatives and supply management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Must be certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants or obtain an unrestricted Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and professionally with clients of all ages, co-workers, practitioners and administration.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Good organizational skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Good time management skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with a Midwife preferred.
• Lactation services experience preferred.
