About The Position

This job assumes responsibility for and schedules for the department; inputs and maintains all physician and ancillary appointment schedules, develops and implements computer training programs for new and existing employees, assists in identifying and solving computer issues and problems. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year related experience
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of required job information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout required job processes.
  • Skills in managing large transit information systems and translating scheduling requirements into system specification.
  • Ability to travel throughout and between facilities.
  • Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily maintenance of current appointment schedules including the opening of schedules on a monthly basis and multiple daily book outs and schedule changes.
  • Maintains the physician and ancillary master schedules.
  • Develops and implements of computer training programs for new and existing employees.
  • Downloads and distributes of reports and miscellaneous other duties.
  • Assists in identifying and solving computer issues and problems specific to user IDs and print setup.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
