Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in health care or managed care environment.
• Must be computer literate, able to perform word processing and work with Excel.
• Must possess strong communication skills and a customer service orientation.
• Able to type a minimum of 45 wpm.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical billing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Network Planning and Operations to maintain provider information and provide clerical support.
• Add providers to the system as needed, coordinate application submissions, update and change provider demographic information, communicate with provider offices to obtain information and perform general office duties.
