We are looking for an experienced Prototype Technician working on a regular (M-F) day shift.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • 7 years or more experience in a fab manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated skill and success with assembly process engineering past experiences
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, company policies and have excellent time organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Windows-based software
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • 5 to 7 years of RF power amp module & discrete assembly experience
  • EVB assembly experience.
  • Experience with common RF assembly diagrams and schematics for discrete, module, and EVB.
  • Experience with RF prototype assembly equipment, Datacon, K&S Iconn, SMT, Mold, Saw, & etc
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Adaptability, Problem Solving Skills, and Team Collaboration
  • Ability to work in the office

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assembling and reworking evaluation board circuits, production test fixtures, DC harness
  • Follow and adhere to defined assembly processes and workflow
  • Read / follow assembly instructions using circuit diagrams and schematics.
  • Program & operate assembly equipment (West-Bond Ball Bonder, Datacon, SMT, Mold, Saw, & etc)
  • Provide technical support to entry level technicians
  • Power amp module assembly: GaN/GaAs die attach, wire bonding, SMD component soldering, glopping.
  • Maintain and organize component stock
