About The Position

Dragonfly is a crypto-native Venture Capital and research firm with $4B+ in

Depending on the team, you could be
Designing and shipping new blockchain protocols focused on scalability, security, and decentralization.
Conducting crypto and protocol research, exploring advanced cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and novel consensus mechanisms.
Building cross-chain interoperability solutions, enabling seamless communication between different blockchains.
Improving and upgrading existing protocols, contributing directly to live, high-impact blockchain ecosystems.
Collaborating on open-source initiatives, working closely with crypto-native communities to push the space forward.

Requirements

• Deep experience building and deploying blockchain protocols or decentralized systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Rust, Go, or other systems-level languages.
• Experience with blockchain architecture, cryptographic primitives, or consensus algorithms.
• Familiarity with smart contract development (CosmWasm, Solidity, or similar frameworks).
• Interest or experience in open-source contributions, blockchain security, or crypto-native research.
