About The Position

An opportunity is available for a Protocol Analyst (Level 2) to support mission-critical analysis and development efforts. The selected candidate will bring expertise in protocol analysis and apply it to support initiatives such as data tagging and tool enhancement. This is a hands-on technical role that supports national-level cybersecurity and signals intelligence objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical field plus 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associate’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience
  • Must have completed one of the following military training programs:
  • Course 451: Intermediate Signals Analysis
  • Course 452: Advanced Signals Analysis
  • Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
  • Signals analysis, particularly of communications signals
  • Bitstream , waveform , or protocol analysis
  • Network troubleshooting and traffic characterization
  • Network security and related cybersecurity work
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage knowledge of protocol analysis to support the tagging and classification of data within new and evolving tools.
  • Perform analysis of communications signals , including waveform and bitstream analysis.
  • Contribute to efforts involving network traffic characterization , troubleshooting , and security analysis .
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and mission partners.
