About The Position

Summary: Supervises and coordinates the daily activities in the Protecto 401 coating process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned. This position is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) on-site position. Schedules, coordinates, and oversee the lining process to deliver quality products that are on time and produced efficiently. Supports and holds team members and self-accountable for EHS and Quality systems, McWane policies, and McWane Way programs. Assigns daily work to team members. Aspires to improve performance in process areas by anticipating issues and troubleshooting. Assists in root cause analysis to find sustainable solutions to problems. Coaches team members on how to improve their performance by providing performance appraisals, training and disciplinary action if necessary. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Fosters positive work relationships with crew, maintenance, and engineering through effective communication, accountability, and teamwork. Effectively communicates to team members, peers, and supervisor. Communicates to supervisor quickly when issues or delays arise. Assists in determining maintenance and engineering needs for efficient processes. Provide tools and resources to team members to foster excellence. Regularly focuses on improving work procedures, production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product. Utilize Excel for data analysis

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 2 years’ manufacturing experience required; OR equivalent combination of education in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology and/or industrial manufacturing experience.
