Requirements

Security License preferred, Crisis Prevention Intervention training within first 4 months of employment
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's license with a "good" driving history and no more than 4 points.
High school diploma required
5+ Years of previous security experience prior experience in law enforcement / military preferred.

Responsibilities

Responds to alarms and dispatched calls, assessing the situation and determining appropriate actions based on available information and situational constraints.
Patrols assigned areas, monitoring buildings and grounds to identify potential security and safety threats to the Medical Center.
Monitors and controls the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and others, ensuring that unauthorized individuals do not gain access and preventing theft.
Identifies, collects, or photographs all physical evidence related to an investigation, ensuring proper documentation as per supervisor guidance.
Reports and addresses hazardous conditions and illegal activities, taking prompt action as observed or recorded.
Cautiously manages subjects and witnesses, securing the scene and preserving any physical evidence in line with disciplinary protocols and supervisory oversight.
