Our team of professionals includes uniformed armed and unarmed security officers and personal protection officers. Requirements

Experience: At least two years of armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
Certification: A valid State of Ohio OPOTA 20-hour firearms training certificate is required.
Must be 21 years of age
Must be citizen of the United States of America
Must complete (sign/date) a Lautenberg Amendment Statement/Domestic Violence certification annually
AEPS is not a typical security company. Our hiring process is comprehensive and may take 6 to 8 months.
As a Federal contractor, all candidates must pass a government background check, which can take 1 to 6 months.
Employment cannot begin until this check is successfully completed.
Upon clearance, candidates must complete a physical exam, including an agility test.
All new hires are required to complete the following in-house training: 36 hours of classroom instruction 4 hours of OC/BAT training 4 hours of CPR certification 32 hours of firearms training and qualification
