About The Position

We are seeking a professional Unarmed Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to help create and maintain a safe and secure environment for our premises, assets, and personnel. This position requires flexibility and on-call availability based on operational and client needs. Unarmed Protection Specialists must be available to accept shift assignments on short notice, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Employees must remain reachable during designated on-call periods and be able to report to duty within the required timeframe. Failure to respond to on-call requests or repeated refusal of assignments may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Requirements

• Proven experience in public safety or security.
• Active Guard Card
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Valid CPR License preferred but will be required 30 days after hiring
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other illegal or inappropriate activities.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Report incidents, suspicious activities, and safety hazards promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
