About The Position

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, supervising security personnel, and ensuring all assigned sites operate in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable laws. This role serves as a key leadership position, providing guidance, accountability, and support to assigned officers while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Active Guard card
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed
  • Ability to work both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in security operations
  • Knowledge of incident reporting systems and workforce management tools
  • CPR/First Aid certification

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support security officers across assigned sites and shifts
  • Ensure post orders, client instructions, and company policies are followed consistently
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and patrol checks to ensure service quality
  • Address operational issues, emergencies, and incidents as they arise
  • Train, coach, and mentor security officers to promote performance and professionalism
  • Ensure officers are properly uniformed, punctual, and prepared for duty
  • Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and call-offs in coordination with management
  • Document performance issues, commendations, and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Review and approve Daily Activity Reports and incident reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of incidents, observations, and corrective actions
  • Communicate operational updates and concerns to management
  • Serve as a point of contact for client representatives when assigned
  • Maintain positive client relationships and address concerns professionally
  • Ensure client satisfaction through consistent service delivery
  • Enforce company safety standards, use-of-force policies, and legal requirements
  • Ensure officers maintain required certifications, licenses, and training
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
