The Proposal/Marketing Writer is a key member of the Field Services marketing team, responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining written content that strengthens our competitive position and provides consistency across all communications. This role combines writing expertise with information management skills to support proposals, marketing materials, and strategic communications under the supervision of the Strategic Growth Marketing Leader for Field Services. Areas of Responsibility: This role spans writing, editing, managing content, and providing quality control. Key responsibilities are organized into the following areas. Proposal Collaboration and Quality Control: Partner with Marketing Coordinators and technical staff to develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposal content. Contribute to messaging strategies, win themes, and technical narratives through collaborative writing. Provide quality control reviews based on deep understanding of client criteria, brand standards, and audience. Provide workload backup for coordinators. Content Development: Create, edit, and maintain boilerplate, project descriptions, resumes, and marketing collateral that clearly communicate Field Services’ capabilities and differentiators. Write and review content for newsletters, reports, and other communications that advance awareness and strengthen the Business Line’s competitive position. Content Management: Build and maintain a new centralized content library, manage CRM records, certifications, and marketing data to support proposal and marketing material development. Field Services Voice and Brand Stewardship: Collaborate with team members to refi ne messaging, provide guidance on writing best practices, and maintain the integrity of the Field Services brand across all communications. Workload Management: Effectively manage workload by understanding task priority levels: Level 1 focuses on capture management/proposals, Level 2 on content development/ management, and Level 3 on tasks supporting Business Line objectives. Adapt to changing priorities while ensuring key deadlines are met, recognizing when to request support. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing coordinators, designers, technical experts, and supervisor to gather and refine content. Provide feedback and serve as a writing and messaging resource for the team.
