The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role at JFT, leading proposal coordination and supporting marketing initiatives across the organization. This position manages the full proposal lifecycle-from opportunity tracking through final submittal-while ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, internal quality standards, and branding guidelines. The role supports marketing content development, document production, and data management, contributing to high-quality client deliverables. The successful candidate excels in a deadline-driven environment, balances multiple priorities, and delivers accurate, well-organized, and visually polished materials.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business, English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in proposal writing and marketing, with experience in construction/manufacturing, engineering, and government contracting industries preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Excellent technical writing, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Owns execution of the proposal process from solicitation review through final submittal.
  • Monitors solicitation websites for new opportunities.
  • Develops proposal outlines and prepares proposal sections including resumes, statements of qualifications, and past project profiles.
  • Writes, edits, and produces proposal documents to meet solicitation, contractual, and internal quality requirements.
  • Organizes and maintains proposal data, resumes, project descriptions, and submittal logs.
  • Reviews proposal documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; prepares electronic submittals.
  • Incorporates graphics, photos, and formatted content into proposals and marketing materials.
  • Supports internal team members to deliver high-quality final documents to clients.
  • Updates marketing presentations and coordinates with IT to maintain website content.
  • Orders marketing materials and supports social media content as needed.
  • Coordination of conference registrations.
  • P reparation and collection of conference supplies and equipment.
