About The Position

This Proposal Manager leads efforts and processes related to requests for proposals (RFPs) and the drafting and verification of related materials across product lines. This position further supports sales initiatives by managing special requests and high-priority projects. The Proposal Manager works collaboratively with teams across the enterprise, including management, account management, sales, product, and security, to obtain information needed to create accurate, compelling, and compliant proposals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five years business-to-business writing or RFP development experience, including ownership of proposal preparation required.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full proposal lifecycles, with strong written communication and content development skills required.
  • Experience managing and optimizing RFP automation tools (e.g., Loopio, Responsive), including content governance and SME engagement required.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical and business concepts into compelling proposal language.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align proposal content with organizational strategy and client needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and drive them to completion under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and shaping proposal content.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Pro, with expertise in document formatting and presentation design.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to uphold high quality standards across all proposal deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of ChatGPT/AI business applications, with the ability to leverage tools to increase efficiency in proposal development.
  • Familiarity with the Lumin Digital Banking suite of products and the ability to position product value effectively within proposals.

Nice To Haves

  • APMP certification a plus.
  • Experience in financial, FinTech, or digital banking industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of RFPs and RFIs, including intake, scheduling, content development, and submission.
  • Maintain and improve the Loopio content library and integrations, ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment with current products and solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing to maintain and evolve proposal templates, ensuring compliance with brand and messaging standards.
  • Ensure proposals meet requirements for compliance, quality, and formatting while effectively communicating Lumin’s value proposition.
  • Collaborate across sales, account management, product, and security teams to gather information and incorporate strategic positioning into proposals.
  • Support consultant and partner relationships through targeted outreach and research to strengthen sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage knowledge of product releases, roadmap, and industry trends to enhance proposal content and ensure relevance.
  • Analyze proposal outcomes and provide recommendations for process and content improvements; contribute to best practice development.
  • Participate in continued professional development in RFP management, writing, financial services, and related fields.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
