Proposal Manager
About The Position
The Bid/Proposal Manager is the central orchestrator of the entire bid lifecycle, driving competitive proposals from opportunity identification through to submission and post-submission negotiations. This role requires a hybrid expert who can lead construction-focused tenders while seamlessly integrating operational, management, and technical services proposals. The successful candidate ensures that all submissions are compliant, professionally produced, and aligned with company profitability targets, brand standards, and strategic objectives for high-value hyperscale projects.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in bid/proposal management, preferably within the AEC industry (construction) or hyperscale sector.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, design-build processes, and operational procedures.
- Writing & Editing: Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible, persuasive content.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes bids simultaneously, meeting tight, non-negotiable deadlines.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and Proposal Management Software/Content Libraries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.

- APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
