About The Position

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to support our office in Belcamp, MD. This is a dynamic position in a rapidly growing company supporting the submission of high-quality proposals to the Government and industry partners. Duties include: Analyzing and reporting on RFP requirements to ensure that SVS can meet them effectively Working closely with the CGO and Business Development staff to understand win strategies, customer concerns, and solution approaches Overseeing the creation and submission of proposals that are compliant, compelling and aligned with client/customer needs Facilitating proposal kickoff meetings, storyboard sessions, and review processes and working with the CGO to tailor the process to match the proposal size and duration Ensuring proposals are fully compliant with requirements throughout the development process and through submittal Conducting post-proposal reviews to gather feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous process improvement Responding to change requests, Items for Negotiation, and/or Engineering Notices as needed during the post-award period Leading and completing non-proposal submittals, such as RFI responses and sources sought notices, including writing new material and soliciting information for company technical assets Leading responses to non-cost data calls and requests from potential prime contractors Performing content management to ensure the availability of relevant previous writing, examples, kudos/client testimonials, and other reusable materials that increase proposal development velocity Assisting with opportunity management in the corporate CRM (Unanet) and SharePoint sites

Requirements

  • Strong multitasking, communications, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple ongoing proposals
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within stringent deadlines
  • Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Bachelors required with 5-10 years of experience
  • Onsite support in Belcamp, MD and other locations driven by proposal releases and CGO assessment of need

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM software a plus

Responsibilities
