Proposal Coordinator Job Description: This entry to mid-level marketing coordinator/pursuits associate leads the development of responses to RFQ/RFPs, interview presentations, and award submissions. Additionally, the associate is the point of contact for assigned business units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, high-performing, and has strong customer service skills. The key to this position is the ability to multi-task and to remain cool while working under multiple deadlines. The position requires excellent writing and design layout skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–4 years of experience in marketing in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) field is desirable, but not required.
• Excellent technical writing and copy-editing skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• High level of working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is desired (specifically InDesign).
• Experience developing RFQ and RFP responses is desired.
• Confidence in leading operations project teams and collaborating with executive leadership individually and in group settings.
• Demonstrated strengths in teamwork, organization, multi-tasking, and project management are a plus.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, coordination, writing, editing, layout, and production of qualifications packages and proposals.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop interview presentation strategy; lead the development of interview materials including presentations, interview books, and handouts; direct presentation rehearsals and ensure the presentation team is well-prepared.
• Act as point of contact for assigned business units; guide them as they need marketing support; maintain project and team knowledge in CRM and other systems.
• Develop and maintain business unit-specific marketing content including narratives and photography for use in proposals, brochures, collateral, company website, social media, etc.
• Update and maintain marketing materials including resumes, project sheets, proposal materials, etc.
• Manage and produce industry and project-specific award submissions.
