About The Position

The Proposal Coordinator supports WW Clyde’s pursuit efforts by coordinating the development and production of proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview materials for heavy civil and transportation work. This role helps manage deadlines, gathers and organizes content from technical teams, and ensures submittals are polished, compliant, and consistent with WW Clyde standards. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career professional who is highly organized, strong in writing and formatting, and eager to learn proposal development in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in proposal coordination, marketing, communications, or a related field. Construction or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign. Illustrator and Photoshop are a plus and can be taught.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a pursuit environment.
  • Ability to work well with technical teams and communicate professionally with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate proposal and qualification pursuits from kickoff through final submission, including schedules, assignments, and deadlines.
  • Review RFQs and RFPs to identify requirements, deliverables, and critical dates. Build outlines and compliance trackers for the team.
  • Schedule and support pursuit meetings such as kickoffs and internal reviews. Track action items and keep teams aligned to deadlines.
  • Gather information from project teams and subject matter experts and organize content into clear, client-focused responses.
  • Format, proofread, and quality-check proposals and presentations for clarity, grammar, consistency, and visual polish.
  • Maintain and update proposal resources such as resumes, project profiles, photos, templates, and content libraries.
  • Support basic graphics and layout work, including exhibits and presentation materials, in coordination with the proposal team.
  • Assist with printing, packaging, and delivery preparation when physical submissions are required.
  • Support other marketing and business development tasks as needed.
